a creative, a mother to my one beautiful boy, a sentimental soul and the eyes and heart behind The Nostalgia Series.

At the heart of this venture is my profound love for storytelling and the nostalgia inherent in the narratives we weave through our daily lives.

The journey began with a personal revelation – the birth of my own son. I felt so passionately about trying to preserve the precious nuances of his everyday world; found in the seemingly ordinary moments around the house.

I realised I was so much more in love with these photos of him completely unhurried and unbothered at home, than any kind of posed photo.

It reminded me of the feeling I would get flicking through mum and dads photo albums of them as kids and then us as kids. Camping, with cousins, play at home - doing the things we love captured as if in a visual field journal. Snapped as we were found.

It always brought waves of nostalgia, pangs of feeling, stories from photos I didn't recognise, a passion ignited to capture stories. I had forgotten that feeling for quite some time and I was now creating that opportunity for my son and our family.

A catalog of images for us to pour over together, reminisce, tell unheard stories of the unremarkable, uncomplicated moments that made up our unique life story. To pass that down through generations is irreplaceable.

My hope is to create this for others too. Images of the moments that truly made up their lives, their absolute truth. To the have waves of emotion and fond recollection.

"The Nostalgia Series" is an ode to the beauty of living and the art of passing down memories through generations.
